Big snow in Oregon....

So here's what our mode of transportation looked like around here for the last several days.....

I know a lot of you all get dumped on during the winter, but in Oregon - we don't!
Snow is measured around here in inches (like 2) not in feet - like 2, which is
what we have up at our place...

Wanna buy a car?

This is the main drag in our little town......

Our country road....

Ellie's a bit puzzled by all this snow....
" whoa dude"

We were blessed with a WHITE (dumped on) Christmas!

I knew I should of put that table away for the winter....

Somewhere out there is our nursery...

But unfortunately, too much snow can also not be a good thing......
Part of our barn awning......
nice.

But there is SO much fun to be had, like dressing up and playing, playing
playing in the snow!!!

.....and after all that playing - one gets to kick back and relax.....

and snore....

Have a blessed day!

Wow!! Beautiful snow in the pictures. Just enjoy it. I love a good blizzard, it seems to slow everyone and everything down. Hope you had a blessed Christmas, ours was super!

Amazingly Beautiful pictures Kristy. I hope that your nursery plants didn't take a HIT for the worse. Was this Miss Ellie's first snow? She looks so pooped in the last picture:)
I love the two behind her in the back seat, so cute. I hope your Christmas was a wonderful one. Ours was but I am so glad to be winding down and no pressure. (I totally put the pressure on myself by procrastinating). I love you girl and think of you all the time. Have a wonderful day.

The snow in itself is beautiful. But I know all about the complications that come with it. Living in the Great White North we usually have two or three of those snowy occurrences each winter. I've never seen chains on tires before, though . . . thanks for posting that picture. I was just asking my husband about how chains fit around car tires a couple of days ago. Now I have the visual picture. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, Kristy!

Happy New Year My Sweetest Friend,

I hope your night is a great one with the family and whatever you have planned. Isaac and Hannah are spending the night so I know I will be having fun. I was tagged for the first time on my blog today and I hope you don't mind me tagging you. If you don't want to play it's okay. I love you and wish many blessings for all of you in this coming year.

Kristy,

Thank you again for the "standing ovation" on my previous post. I just wanted to get others caught up if they wanted to know me:) The tag response is too funny, but it is "so you girl". I love you and will talk to you soon. It would be heavenly to visit you there.

Aren't we glad the snow left us??? Oh my, I got weary of staying in.

Darling pictures of the kids. I'm sure they loved it all--Christmas, snow, etc. Our Sandy kids loved it, I know, with all of sledding down their hill, etc.

Trust you will have a wonderful new year. Will be looking forward to more cute pictures and stories from you in the days to come.
