We went to the Oregon coast to beat the heat this weekend, too. It may have been 104 at home, but it was a chilly 63 at the shipwreck that day! Wished we had brought our sweatshirts!
THE cutest picture ever. Nice hoody. (I just about called it a bunny-hug, but I think that's the 80's talking). Hope you've had a great summer. ((HUGS)) -Kimmy-
Love the sweatshirt! Hey, the beach is the beach, whether it's cool or hot! It's still the beach and ya gotta love it! I love this sweet picture, Kristy!
Over the years I have had times at the beach that the sand has been too hot to go barefoot!! However, that hasn't happened very often.
I think our Oregon beaches are the most beautiful in the world. I love the texture of the sand, the nice hard sand for walking, and that glorious ocean which just keeps rolling in and rolling out. I am particularly fond of the northern beaches, with Manzanita being my all time favorite!
Your little girlie certainly looks adjusted!! I have a new little neighbor boy who arrived from China last month. I always speak to the children when I see them out, and yesterday the little boy ran to me and threw his arms around my legs--melted my heart!!
Life will soon be getting into routine with school beginning. Enjoy your few days of summer vacation that are left!!
When I read your headline on my blog - I thought you'd gone back to China. :) Love the picture. We were up in mountains for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. Now I have to get back to all my blog friends and catch up on the news. Smiles.
Did you get lost at the coast and can't find your way home? I am sure you are busy home schooling and doing all the things a mommy does to keep things running smoothly. It looks like I am not the only one missing you here though. Praying your days are blessed and healthy. I love you.
WHere are you??!! Is everyting okay!? You are suppose to warn us if you are going on break so we (I) don't worry. Sending warm wishes and covering prayers for you...
My amazing husband/best friend Mark, and I have been married 18 years. We have 4 children, ages 14, 11, 6 and 3. God has chosen to grow our family by adoption. We brought Ellie Grace YiYu home to her forever family, March 5 2008, from Shanghai. I am blessed to be a stay at home-homeschooling- mom, and treasure every minute of it!
In it for His glory ~
