In Awe, Overwhelmed, Speechless, OHMY !!

I'm just going to do this, cause I can't wait any longer!!!!
Miss Ellie Grace
Our little peanut !
She was born on November 30, 2005
Currently she is in the SWI in Shanghai.
I've yet to figure out what Province she's from.
We are BEYOND excited. I've been in a daze - it all came so unexpected.
For travel, for finances, for the kids that are staying home, for the surgery that she'll need, that she even LIKES us !!!!!
God is good.
So good.
I can see His hand in this every-step-of-the-way.
The 3 years it took to get to this point. The 15+ months we've been on the waiting child list......
I'm doing good, really. I just cry at anything now - I am so grateful.
In awe.
We have a little peanut in China waiting for us !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I turn 36 TOMORROW - who could ask for a better gift ??!!!
Can ya hear me singing His praises??!!
Love to you all

Kristy... I am speechless. She is so beautiful. She literally took my breath away. My mouth fell open and all I could do was just stare.
I remember so long ago when I first started coming to your blog... now I behold the face of your precious daughter. Jesus is oh, so faithful to bless us beyond our heart's desires. Jesus will hold you in His loving hands sweet Ellie Grace... hold on little one your Mommy is coming.
I will be praying.

I am so very happy for you. I have to see if my mom click over to your blog today. I was hoping to call her today so she could see the baby. I linked to you on my blog this morning, with your exciting news. She might already know.

You go ahead and cry, I am just seeing that precious little girl we have been praying for all this time.

What kind of surgery does she need? Shanghai is in central China on the coast. It is a main financal city (like the New York of China). We stayed there 2 times. It is easy to get there and interesting to stay there. It is very western (pizza hut Mcdonalds and KFC). I'm so happy for you!!! When do you get to travel?

Kristy, THIS is why it's so easy to love you (in a bloggity, perfectly normal kind of way)--your countenance is radiant, reflecting the joy of the Lord AND your joy of your daughter :). And that doggone enthusiasm of's INFECTIOUS!

Since it's Saturday when I'm reading, I get to tell you HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Wahooo! What a gift...what.a.GIFT!

Praise God! You and your family have waited so patiently for the right child and she is finally here. I can't imagine the joy, anxiety, giddiness you must be feeling. You are right it's a great birthday present and I will continue to pray for you and your family. Especially that the trip and all the steps you must go thru go smoothly.

Happy Birthday Sweet Friend! I found a yahoo group you may want to join...

This is for families who have/or are adopting from Shanghai. I bet you can learn allot from this group. You may even get photos of your waiting daughter. I joined the Nanjing yahoo group and learned so much from them about where to stay, what to do, and what to expect. Bless you, Amy
I am so excited for you!!!

Amazing. It must be so hard to know she is there, but not be able to go get her yet. The wait is sooooo hard. It still hasn't hit me that mine is really over yet. =)

thanks for stopping by my blog! I love meeting new blogging buddies, especially a fellow Oregonian. =) Most of my blog buddies are on the east coast somewhere.
